8th Grade News: September 4-7, 2018

General News
Binder Checks
Our 8th grade scholars are doing a wonderful job of keeping up with their binders and other important school supplies. This past week we had our first binder check, and students who earned the necessary amount of points received a dress down day. Each content area will be checking binders throughout each week for the following items: agenda, pencil pouch with pencils/pens/highlighters, dividers, a homework section or homework folder, and notebook paper. Binder checks will continue this week, and students who earn enough points by the end of September will earn another dress down day! If you are in need of supplies for your child or would like to donate supplies, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher.

Shout Outs: Students of the Month
Each month, the 8th grade team elects two exemplary scholars to be the 8th grade students of the month. Our students of the month for August are Ramyia Adams and Joshua Daniel. Congratulations, Ramyia and Josh!
